There is a time and place for everything though.
Example: I bought into AVZ when the first hole was released at 5.6c (on open), and added to it the next day at 8.2c. Sold half of it this morning at 15c to be free-carried with the remainder.
I have been burned in the past though buying at inflated prices on open, I just wanted to say that there is no hard or fast rule, sometimes the news is amazing and deserves the opening price, sometimes the news is not that good and you should give the market an hour to stabilise.
The key as always, is to DYOR.
