well apparently TCL isnt doing the SPP until September. And the SPP price will apparently be a 2.5% discount to whatever the share price is in September. Fair way to go.
Two other cases which spring to mind. The last SPP's from Origin Energy and St George Bank were both delayed about 4 months after the insto placements they corresponded to.
In the case of Origin, the share price had risen and the SPP price was very attractive, being the same as the placement price.
In the case of St George, the share price had fallen and the SPP shareholders got a price about 30% lower than what the instos had paid.
