andrew, I so doubt the PYC Directors would resign under any circumstances- pretty good wicket they're on regardless of the outcome of votes.

Most of the companies on the ASX make their Directors into millionaires, via salaries, and gifted shares/options, etc. Share price fluctuations probably make little difference in the scheme of things. Without these roles, many Directors would end up in Universities earning $70k-$100k, and marking papers for a living. The big fear for many companies would be a S249D requisition for removal of Directors.

I was just looking at some of the ANN's of 2007. Why 2007? Well, valutech.com.au had this to say, so I thought I'd check out the situation back then:

"This [share price fluctuations, but falls] continued initially into 2007 but with some subsequent fall in prices due to lack of noticeable progress. This resulted in decision to change CEOs at the end of the year."

Burns, arthritis, allergies, lungs, head trauma, Opsona... What happened to this company? The share price in 2007 started @ 50c and finished @ 20c. Stuart Washer was the head of PYC then, and left. Roll on to five years later, and the share price is 2.1c. The sad thing is, even one of those ANN's today (this year!) would be a thrill.
