I dont think WEC is the heat & squeeze method.
they use a flash dry method that is probably more suited to waste fines from existing coal production facilities.
They then briquette it using a binderless method.
Exergen use a squeeze method to rid the coal of water after they have taken it through its pressurisation method.
Maybe you're mixing the two up.
