Today just sums up the whole market and why its mystique and workings keeps me intrigued.
In cricketing parlance most of my stocks today including FAR were "smeared to cover" or "pasted to cow corner" or "carted to long off". A dirty day at the track.
But amazingly my chief black dog botherer of a stock QAN triumphantly announces its arrival for the day with a stonking $2.8b loss and the market rewards it today with a 6.9% increase!! I must admit to being blushingly embarrassed to admit this - a bit like a "french cut".
Heres hoping for better bowling days ahead on greener wickets.
