Because 99% of those anecdotal aussies who are willing to reveal their opinion on trump, have likely formed their opinion on trump on the basis of information spoon fed to them by the media.

If the media (and I will unapologetically target the tax payer funded ABC) made an effort to be factual and less emotional in their story telling then discussions around the Aussie dinner table regarding US politics would no doubt be different.

Next time one of these 99% tell you they think trump is an ass, ask them why. Ask them which of his policies they didn’t like and why. Were there any policies that they did like? ....
