tonight's behaviour

    To all concerned about tonights behaviour on HC, it is clear that the behaviour on show has been nothing short of disgusting.

    Indeed, its been a bit like the first day of the QLD election campaign, with:
    1)
    one minister resigning over abuse charges;
    2)
    one electoral corruption charge being referred to the Crime Commission; and
    3)
    the Premier back-flipping on just how much new funding has been included in his S-E QLD policy release.

    Instead of being a stockmarket forum interspersed with healthy doses of general commentary (geo-political and the like), tonight HC has shown the worst excesses of personal attitude and behaviour.

    The personal invective and indetta (internet vendetta) being shown on this forum tonight should serve as a warning to all concerned - it does not take much to corrupt an online forum and discredit its integrity as a virtual community.

    Before even more posters decide on joining in on the antics tonight, they should consider this - just like a dance or rave party, or even drinks amongst friends, can quickly get out of control, so too can an online forum, shrouded in anonymity, impacted by boredom, and lacking in direction or market action.

    For the sake of the ongoing credibility of this forum, I suggest that posters either:
    1)
    take a deep breath before committing themselves to responding to any posts this evening;
    2)
    think twice before joining in on the rave; or
    3)
    sin-bin HC tonight (by going offline for the night, or simply just watch things out from the sidelines).

    Tomorrow will be another tading day.

    That said, my thanks to those posters who, in the last 30 minutes or so, have attempted to post some genuine commentary, or stock /market related comments.
