Well, lawdy me! How frightening. Just thinking about all those heroin addicts out there driving around just makes me want to stay at home!
Wrong on two counts Shiny.
1. Oraline can detect impairment from opiates - and in accordance with SAMSHA cut-off levels (40g/ml)
2. Driving under the influence of cannabis is a far bigger problem. In any 12 month period only 2 in a thousand people will try heroin - compared to 113 trying cannabis. The incidence in other words is 60 times greater. So even if Oraline could not detect heroin (and it can) that would not have much impact on its value in detecting impairment from much more commonly used drugs (also including ice and cocaine)
