'Provocative' N. Korea missile test failed, U.S. says
North Korea has test-fired one long-range missile and five shorter-range rockets, but the closely watched long-range test failed after about 40 seconds, U.S. officials said. Some analysts believe the Taepodong-2 capable of hitting the United States. National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley described the launches as "provocative behavior."
