Have not yet looked too hard at the pair since coming home... but backk on the platform now...

However... here is a tip for IGMarkets users and something I just found out.

If you use the Real-time charts, function, available via the tools menu on the platform, it is possible to run charting packages on multiple (well at least one other) seperate PCs. This is because the advanced chart function as accessed from the tools menu runs as a seperate java process from the trading platform.

To run charts on two PCs...

Open the platform on the PC that you want to run charts exclusively.

Click the Tools Button then select real-time charts from the Tools popup.

Once the real time charts program starts and you have the ITCharts window displayed...
Close the platform.

The Real-time charts application will remain running, and you can then open the platform on another PC and go through the process again.

You cannot do this with the Advanced Charts function that you can open from a ticket or price line display... this only works for the Tools/Real-time charts function.
