2005, I do like my cab sav and shiraz to have a bit of age. Bet that has an old school cork, hardly see them this days.
I drink a bit of wine, prefer shiraz and will not buy it if not at least 2 years and if you like your wine and fussy like me it can be costly when the every day wines you like are in the about $15 mark. As such I take the approach of taking advantage of when BWS has 25% off when you buy 6 bottles, I also have a Dan's member card and they always have member discounts which saves quite a bit.
Also discovered recently that Dan's have on line only specials promo, first time the other day took advantage of it and ordered 2 dozen bottles (3 different wines all shiraz) total cost was $592 but with promo offer discount came to $244 inc delivery. One of those wines is normally $26 per bottle, will see if it is worthy of that price tag but I do know that there is no direct correlation between cost of a wine and if I like it
