Volt, I'm pretty sure that's what Heremes means. Also depending on which options you use in the straddle you can "lean" the straddle in a certain direction.

I wish our option markets were more liquid as options do have some advantages. The CFD market seems to have soaked up a lot of liquidity. If you aren't playing the top 5-10 stocks you are almost guaranteed to be playing the market maker. Hard to make a buck when the competition has very deep pockets.
