Mark, I can't find the actual labor party ads - I expect they have been removed - why would labor want those replayed...lol. All I can remember is them going on and on. Right through prime time TV and it was annoying.

Perhaps you didn't have your TV on - or because you like Gillard, the ads didn't irk you and so less likely that you remembered.

However, in this video of August 2010 (which may have been the ad except I think she was wearing a white outfit with her pearls in the ad...lol), both Gillard and Swan make it VERY clear that there will be no carbon tax. Swan talks about it as being a hysterical allegation from the liberal party and he rejected that allegation with certaintity. How much clearer can it get than that? They both were very categorical that there would be no carbon tax.
