Mikeoh; despite his own comments about his record re the Gospel Truth, I'm inclined to believe claims attributed in the media to Tony Abbott that he was head-butted. To me and relative to the assassination attempt against Arthur Calwell, the matter is hardly even newsworthy and may even be just another of Abbott's self-serving 'media stunts'.
However; without an independent witness, an independent breathalyser test report or peer-reviewed video footage of the alleged incident and given the drunken parties Abbott has been reported to have hosted in Parliament House and at Kirribilli House; we cannot just blindly accept that Abbott did not somehow injure himself:
