Tony Abbott head butted by yes campaigner, page-392

Blooreeler; the assassination attempt via rifle shot to the head at point blank range against Arthur Calwell compared to Abbott's head-butt is remarkable for several reasons:
1. Unlike Tony Abbott, Arthur Calwell did NOT seek saturation media coverage.
2. Calwell's life would have ended but for the effect of striking the window of his car whereas Abbott was never at risk of anything but a limp lip.
3. Abbott pre-emptively shot his foul mouth off as he worked overtime to denigrate SSM supporters, apparently seeking sympathy for being targeted by what I regard as a nutter. Calwell copped it sweet and right on the chin - a real Aussie!
4. As a good Catholic Calwell immediately forgave the man who tried to assassinate him and subsequently sought to minimise his time in jail and support his rehabilitation - very successfully as it turned out!
5. At NO stage has Abbott expressed anything other than concern for Himself - let alone the rehabilitation of the man who openly confessed to hatred of him.
6. Abbott's commitment to his religion's 'forgiveness' is nowhere to be seen - he's baying for blood and should therefore be excommunicated by his beloved Church.

What a delicate little petunia Abbott has turned out to be, nauseating really!
