Thanks dust for articulating beautifully the truth of the matter about this bloke Abbott, the Abbott that is of (lol) Abbott Joe & Co.
Labor's stocks seem to be down a wee bit at the moment (going by the polls) but a week is a long time in politics and there are quite a few weeks to go before the election.
Now the biggest handicap for the Liberals at the moment is their "leader" -Abbott. This may not be apparent to all and sundry at the present time yet but come closer to the election when he will be subjected to the spotlight it will be increasingly obvious that the upstart will not be up to the task of the position he seeks. We can expect an increase in the frequency of the nod, the stumbling answers to probing questions etc etc & etc and an accompanying increase in Labor's fortune along the way. To sum up, it is not the end of the world for Gillard & Co. but the near future may well see the end of Abbott's political aspirations.
