I think the 2PP which takes into account peoples preferences is more legitimate and that is running 50/50.
What baloney. 2PP is a flawed system. Most people who vote for alternative parties go with the preferences because they cant be bothered filling in the 20+ boxes individually and many wouldn't even know who their vote really went to anyway. So in effect their vote goes to whoever has struck comfy deals with each other. Of course Greens are going to side with Labour because they know that is the only way to potentially get seats.
The fact is 44% of the primary vote went to the coalition. That is the highest of all parties. Preferences do not, and never has, adequately reflected the true position of the Autralian people.
