    DDzz, your repeating of last month's (or last year's) story shows that you are a bit behind the times - apart from showing your own personal bias.

    The Labour party did not treat Tony with the seriousness that they should have (they used the same iron monk language that you are using), and they have found that ridicule can backfire, when the person being ridiculed shows themself to be a pretty normal sort of person.

    The news commentators are highlighting the fact that Tony has shown himself to be a man of the people, mixing well with the man on the street, and running a tight campaign.

    More generally, some have suggested Malcom Turnbull should have run the campaign - if he was still leader, we would have had an emissions trading regime by now, and Kevin Rudd would still be PM. Kevin would have won the election on an easy cakewalk.

    It is time for some posters to re-think yesterday's messages in the light of today's facts
