The funny thing is, those that think Abbott should be replaced after losing only have a few choices themselves(considering many of us, including me, thought Abbott was unelectable only a little while ago...).

    1. All of us underestimated Abbott, and he almost achieved what hasn't been done for ages... the removal of a first term government. (also the removal of a first term prime minister - which has been achieved). If that's the case - he's the right man for opposition as any good democracy needs a government that is challenged by a strong opposition in their decisions for the good of the people.

    2. Labor was so pathetic that even with the massive campaign they had with the help of the unions still couldn't win in their own right against an opposition lead by a supposed unelectable leader! If that's the case, the removal of Julia and the current power brokers seems quite appropriate.

Abbott's position, in my opinion, is stronger than ever - win or lose.
