I'm really hoping that the greens get a portfolio. For the first time in their political career they will have to understand that compromise is about.

I think they will have an interesting learning curve.

Some interesting notes.

1. In prepolling and polling, I've had a chance to speak to a several Greens. Lovely people, but none of them knew about 33% tax for companies, nor the rationale behind it. (I'm guessing the removal of GST...)
2. Those I've chatted with in Prepoll and poll, only interested in Green stuff. The left/right of politics, they really didn't have much of an opinion.

I'm wondering if we can make a green party with "blue" values. Blue / Green - call it the "Algae" party.
