    The Coalition assumed (lol)it would cost $3600 per property, and therefore only allowed for 22 per cent of premises across Australia to be connected to the NBN in this manner.

    "We know fibre to the premise is the best technological solution, and if you can build it cost-effectively, then you should do so," Mr Turnbull said.

    As I posted yesterday in the run up to the election, the facade built up by Abbott (lol) Joe & Co. - their pretence of being fit to govern - will hopefully fall away to reveal this mob of opportunistic no-hopers for what they are. Seeing as the mob's opposition to the construction of the NBN was a major plank in its bid for government the revelation that they have now recognized the value of the project, and may well agree to its implementation will be duly noted by the electors and put in the folder for consideration come the big day in September.
