You're right about the no new taxes. They lied. There are you happy? I said it at the time and will say it again. They have betrayed the people over these measures. I dont like it. But Abbott promised too much during the lead up to the election, and I posted as such at the time.
Baby bonus was an election pledge that they cannot bring in due to the current senate makeup.
So hasnt cost anyone anything yet.
Trying to cut debt and deficits is a noble aim and in the interests of the nation, but 12 months on it is clear it isnt happening.
But I'm prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt for at least 1 term I think that's only fair, especially considering a lot of their proposed cuts and funding measures cannot pass the senate.
PS - You forgot to whinge (again) about the sir and dame thing again, you're slipping!
