Does anyone realise that Fortescue Mining will be paying $700 Million Company Tax
Indeed I do, and I started to write a post on that yesterday, until I realised that I would be wasting my time to get some smart response from the unproductive sector who's income is financed by such taxes.
It seems we would all be so much better off if FMG had never existed and all the iron ore stayed in the ground. There will never be another Andrew Forrest, so next time around the ore WILL stay in the ground unless a multinational digs it up. He took horrendous risks to establish the company, and for that he copped wholesale abuse and insults from the Federal Treasurer.
Future exploration will be confined to the already established bureaucratic multinational companies. FMG was our own home grown company, never again.
