Surely name calling is just lowering yourself into the gutter? I don't do play that game. My opinion of those who engage in constant ad hominum attacks is simply that they cannot debate rationally and are behaving like cornered animals spewing forth venom, invective and logical fallacies in all directions. As a rule, it's kind of puerile really (without singling anyone out). It's not about being gentle but about being a gentleman (or a lady) rather than a disrespectful pratt trying to close debate down rather than fostering it. No way to get your point across either way.
