If a politician states he wants to implement a policy but despite his efforts is blocked in doing so by an obstructive opposition party and a senate stock full of imbeciles , then for the lefties the politician lied...
Of course that ridiculous definition does not apply to leftist politicians who can lie to their hearts content and have a massive army of leftist propaganda trolls and the ABC sweep it under the carpet...
