You expose yourself MI by comparing a decent Australian such as Dr Richard Di Natale to despotic dictators such as Mao and Pol Pot. Mao and Pol Pot had nationalistic tendencies usually found in Far right types and includes Nazis and Fascists. The Australian version of left are those who believe in education and health access to all, believe in safety nets for those that need it, believe in having a sustainable environment and fair wages for workers. Decent compassionate traits whereas the hard right types want it all for themselves, to live for today, and stuff our children's futures. Mongrels who wanted to get rich off asbestos in spite of the threat to life, who peddle tobacco products firstly claiming its safe and when that is exposed for the lie that it was moan about a nanny state when the State tries to protect its people. Which side opposed plain packaging for cigarettes etc, certainly not the so-called left. Who was it, oh yes the so-called right wing elements prepared to make a dollar out of others misery. The right wingers malign anyone who tries to expose those who profit from harming the community. They dish it out to Independent Andrew Wilkie for trying to do something about the impact of poker machines on the community.
To hard right types, the left in Australia is anyone who does not hold their hard rights abhorrent views. That why in this forum even long term liberal members and supporters have been targeted by those that support Far Right attitudes.
