Kellbys, I guess it depends if you see the glass half empty or half full.

I see this as a win for young people who can't get work. The money is better than the dole, in fact (if the article is correct), at the highest rate it is almost double the amount of the dole.

Those working for the green army will be gaining experience in a job and it could well be a springboard for them into other jobs.

Personally, I see more positive than negative...
