You can make a position redundant when you believe the position is no longer a full-time role. Then pass the position to someone else that's position also might be short of being a full-time role and give the better of the two the role of both positions.
I agree, it didn't seem a full-time director role, and you probably could’ve managed it from the Bali Cocktail Bar.
I also was not deeply impressed with Mr Liebeskind either. Not that I know too much of him nor his earlier role in the company. But from my impressions from the AGM, I am glad he didn't make the cut. If we are to take on a new board member, my thoughts look toward someone more forward and in your face who has experience working with people and not leaving until you sign the contract. Moreover, our next meeting is over drinks patting each others back on a win well done. I only had the AGM and his short speech to go off and wasn't impressed enough sorry MrL.
Who else can I pick on, Sean Hehir is a mouse not eating enough cheese. I have my doubts about this guy as well but only from his presentations. I too, need to read from the script rather than improvise in a speech setting. But I also get things done the way I do things, so I will still give Sean close to his five-year tenure to prove his worth, including the large monetary benefit he is on. So if he fails, he needs to be strung, no more directorships for you ever. AND AND AND by the way, your Director of Director told us you will bring in nine million by Christmas. SO, that's where your five years end! If you fail this mission, hand in the keys, hand in the stockpile of free shares, bow out quietly and never take a director’s position again, by New Years Eve. WHY because you failed, and you didn't just fail but you broke all the promises in the book, and you will be GUILY as us shareholders charge you. Or,
Now hurry up and announce it, give yourself some peace and us too. WE DON'T WANT YOU TO FAIL Sean, we are scared and have the right to be, looking in from the outside right now shows so much promise. Don't stuff it up.
