Such commentary exposes just how little factual knowledge there really is behind what Tony Abbott spews out to the public in his self-serving lust for influence and power over others.

For example, the way the plant operated changed aka the VW diesel engine scandal. As for the impact on those living in 'The Valley' [one of my uncles died from coal related lung disease], asbestos, the Morwell open pit fire, the Latrobe River breach into the Yallourn open cut mine, the collapse of the Princes Hwy near Morwell, workers' health, government subsidies, Kennett's deal with plant operators, the costs of subsequent remediation works …. it's truly a sickening story!
The costs of essential remedial work to resurrect Hazelwood would have been a case of chucking $Even $More $Billions of taxpayers' money at an incredibly bad commercial operation - no less than gross stupidity.
