Took the population of each country / region where patent protection is registered or pending (this does not include Mexico where the test is also being rolled out). Multiplied that by the percentage of the population that has diabeties (diabetic population percentages are available on the web). Made an assumption on annual testing of 5% of those (almost 20 million people per year) and applied a rate per test to give an annual $ contribution from Promarker D.
Nothing too remarkable in a valuation sense. Just ignored any other parts of the business that also have value.
