tony would not need slogans, if he were addressing intelligent people. sadly , half of australians have below average intelligence (who mostly vote labor) - so much so, that the only way to get the message across to them, is by way of a slogan.

labor try to raise the esteem of these "below average intelligence" voters by calling them "hard working australians". this is a feel good slogan for people who only take, and never give. labor have had a heap of silly slogans

if the bogans did not have to vote, then there would be no need for slogans.
