Which is pretty much what he has been doing for more than 2 years now ... no vision, no policy detail & no action plans just a reference back to the dim-whitted policies of the lazy, pork-barrelling Howard era & while drawing his generous taxpayer-funded position as Opposition Leader.
And therein lies a huge risk for the Coalition under Tony Abbott. If Kevin Rudd is returned as PM, an ill-prepared Abbott will face a revitalised 'media savvy messiah' with little heavy lifting policy work still to be done.
Rudd would be relatively free to focus on ripping shreds off Abbott in Parliament & exposing his flawed, deceitful statements for what they are. The electorate has never embraced Abbott & subjected to such 'outing' the Coalition would be forced to turn to Malcolm Turnbull for vision, relevance & substance.
