You are spot on the mark with your assessment IMO.

Labor are still in a shambles though. There is a perception that they have considerable internal disharmony, driven by the intentions of certain factional components.

Seriously, I wish Gillard well. I'm prepared to give her a fair go.

But, she needs to perform or she's out, just like Rudd.

I would be willing to wager that numbers are constantly being counted in Labor ranks. there are a couple of seriously ambitious and ruthless coves in their ranks. The leadership is like shifting sands.
