I've held a couple of times in the past, and got frustrated that what I received in divvies always seemed to come of the price of the heads. But the more it falls, the more compelling it becomes for re-entry. The downsides are gearing which could be considered high in the current environment, and the fact wine prices are under pressure. That could translate to more pressure on the leases, to remain a going concern, esp for those who grow grapes to sell to winemakers. If I were you, I'd reassess who is leasing the vineyards and have a look at how they are travelling so as to get a feel for the strength of future incomes.
Cheers!
