Not too sure about this whole "acquisition" story - the Investor Presentation paints a glowing picture of a doubtful future.
From what I understood from Andrew Drummond, Wonarah had more phosphate than we could handle - so why do we need to swop half of this for even more phosphate?
The report says Baobab is "Majority owned by Agrifos Partners LLC (Farouk Chaouni and Timothy Cotton)" - so what does Majority mean (51%)? And who owned the "minority"?
I was just thinking if I wanted a slice of MAK and Baobab was going cheap, I could just buy a minority share in Baobab before the acquisition and I would then get a large slice of MAK with options to get even more....
If it is such a good deal for MAK, why would Baobab swop their fantastic company for 50% of MAK?
Its all subject to shareholder's approval, so I don't suppose my tiny vote will make any difference - lets hope the "Majority MAK shareholders" will make the right decision.
