It seems like The Cho Group are potentially operating in a bit of a grey area for western medicine, as not many have heard of PDT before. I must admit even to me at first, the thought of light treating cancer sounded too good to be true.
So I’ve been doing a bit of research after buying some IVX today.

I was worried perhaps I may have bought into a scam (thanks to the articles posted in the other thread) however I have found that PDT is quite a legitimate therapy that has been around for some time and is still being researched.
Here are some individual articles from other groups using PDT with seemingly good success rates for a range of different cancers.

It seems quite effective in treating ovarian cancers, preserving fertility and making surgery unnecessary.

Ovarian cancer is a huge industry, expected to be worth 1.7billion by next year. Industry standards currently run the risk of leaving women infertile and this is a huge benefit to PDT if it is proven clinically successful.

On a side note: I also noted Dr Campbell (of PAB) is a non-executive director of IVX. It made me wonder if PABs antibody could be used to deliver the PDT molecules more specifically to cancer cells, it seems it has been tried with other antibodies before to some degree of success.
It would be great if PAB and IVX could combine their efforts, as this could potentially have a great impact on oncolotherapy.
