I wouldn't exactly call a 42% chance of success "well below 50%".
In fact by industry standards, 42% COS is enormously exciting. Most would be around 10%.
~2.2c is cash backed once we have all 485mill pieces of paper and $10.4 'large' in the bank.
So with all things considered, no matter which way you look at it, 2.1c should really be in the Hotcopper "Humour" section.
