Consumers don't stop eating. They eat on the cheap instead. In economics this is called the "Substitute Good" theory. More cheap fast food meals will be consumed in the next 3-5 years compared to other types of restaurants. Specially compared to the the more expensive non fast food restaurants.
I'll even help you out, if you are short... Margin contraction will be experienced and perhaps is a better platform to drill to those shorting. To mitigate, CKF will need to increase sales volume instead of focusing on margins by offering cheaper menu items, targeted campaigns etc moving forward...
