New home builders are a JOKE. I remember hearing advertising in the paper and on tv that their new houses were of great value but due to cost increases they couldnt stay down for long "hurry price rise next month"etc. Nowdays new housing prices have gone down yet costs are still high. Yet they still make a massive profit, and who is getting jacked... most probably the tradies who charged a shitload and helped increase the prices in the first place. Looks like its all unwinding. Now the stupid RBA are lowering the interest rates to try and stimulate the already inflated housing market. I hope people dont fall for it.
