It's never too late to buy into a stock that is going up on what you may perceive is a sustainable rise.
The stockmarket is littered with heaps of stocks that "can't possibly rise any more" or that have fallen so far for so long they are "unbelievably cheap".
A good trend is a good trend is a good trend.
