    and once again the point is avoided. It has nothing to do with the free market - or free trade. It is about withholding information to gain an advantage over others - in this case with fatal consequences.

    The outbreak was declared only "an outbreak of international concern" - based on information from China - on Jan 31 not a pandemic. These supplies were on the tarmac at Perth airport on 8 Feb, so purchased at around the same time. So yes, bought surreptitiously before the world realised the severity of this contagion.
