@Huyton121. I've met and had a chat with Aaron Patrick, an editor and senior writer at the AFR. He is a very decent guy, and the author of an interesting book- Credlin & Co. A fine writer.
No, the problem is more specific. It's when you get journos who simply can't get their minds out of the gutter, and it reflects in their writing (irrespective of who they are writing for), that's when I start to have an issue. Objectivity is lost, yet somehow these people retain their influence.
