1&2, I think posts like this one come from traders who are not yet set for the resource announcement.
The ASX rules require continuous disclosure. The company would be in breach of the listing rules and potentially expose all who are internally aware, including the drillers and chemists, to insider trading risk if they were not to comply with the continuous disclosure regime.
