I agree Autosine, takeover talk BY BPT shouldn't be on anyone's agenda at the moment. Sure, a complete out of left field T/O OF BPT could come any day, the world is a very funny place and BPT looks very juicy, albeit far from ripe, yet.
No, ICN, nor BPT, have any hope of going too much further than Halifax-1 and that's why I believe Halifax-1 is so important to both ICN and BPT. IMO, majors know the potential of 218 and 855 (together) and are just letting BPT and ICN spend as much as needed with Halifax-1 with the view to jumping in IF those numbers replicate Encounter and Holdfast in 218.
40% j/vs with those numbers for 218 (BPT) and 20% each from BPT and ICN for 855 will go a very long way towards getting that gas to a GLNG plant quicker than from anywhere else and THAT'S what is required, quantity and speed of delivery. RG wants production in 2013, he can ONLY get that IF he has a big brother.
