I don't think we will see a takeover - it would have to be a really big offer to even be considered now that Beach has enough dollars to develop everything themselves and has 100% of the shale assets. However, I do expect a major to want to buy in to the shale gas. I think beach would be asking for $2 billion for a 50% shale assets deal and that would really pick the share price up pretty quickly. Just lots of mention in the news is part of the share price increase. I think still way undervalued. Just my opinion - do your own research.
