A great back to reality article.
The reason why there is little environmental fuss in the US about their shale operations is that landowners benefit a lot more.
They welcome and indeed seek out lease opportunities.
If a little more compensation could be found for landowners here, the fragility of the association of greenies and farmers might be exposed.
