I am not a heartless bastard ... forced iso ... the stress of not being able to loved ones in nursing homes ... worry about jobs beyond iso are real.
What I am saying is that golden years that followed the severe adversities I mentioned between and including the two world wars, have left a population untested, unprepared and lacking inner strength and resilience to cope with adversity.
Decades of good times and helicopter parenting, morning cafe lattes and avo toast, social media likes and “friends” you don’t really connect with, gen x, y and what comes after z.
