The next upcoming sales report from VMT will be critical to see that the slow and quiet steady approach is working.
We should be seeing a big uplift in sales and cash inflows from VMT in the next update (and use of cash for direct activities bringing items to market or investing in expansion which is clear to track, transparent - based on the buoyancy in the EV market globally, and the social media indicators of VMT's improving market share in various countries. Hoping for that.Once the report comes out, we can dissect whether VMT has just done a "copy and paste" of previous reports (hope not), and whether the opportunity is actually being seized by VMT or it is missing it. I’ll compare the report with the previous one to see whether it’s just a copy and paste in the outlook section.
We’ll see if we get a detailed update from VMT, including on India, US (and other countries), specific sales opportunities with B2B (including those mentioned in the past that have gone quiet) and where they are at, more information on dealing with getting new models to market, what are some realistic forward sales expectations (and stretch targets of it looks too soft, and why is management pessimistic if that’s the case?), commentary on growth in the sales numbers and if it is not meeting expectations, why? how VMT is going to grow the share price and create shareholder value, rationale for not having a Chairman and strategy for dealing with institutional investors (who will put a proper valuation on this far in advance of current market cap), strategy on use of cash.
Below are the outlook statements from the last three market updates, it's just copy and pasting. For info, these sort of statements are the ones that institutional investors focus on (non-existent here), and then follow up with the company - they are not a waste of time and if you are listed on a public exchange you need to make the effort. In absence of clarity on the outlook, we’ll need to see a big uplift in sales and cash inflows (and use of cash for direct activities bringing items to market or investing in expansion), which hopefully is forthcoming.
