So, this is
Musée-Abbaye Saint-Germain d'Auxerre
Auxerre is very special, all I have spoken to like it. It's got a wonderful feel about it. It's in Burgundy, so food and wine is a big deal and of course history. Lots of religious stuff, lots of food stuff. I've had a couple of very different experiences here - personal ones - don't know why here - one was a very clear connection. All quite odd.
These are vids of the above - first though - this guy is hard to miss - and, I understand that it might be a bit not quite right to vid him - because he's - well, he's very short quite a lot of sheep in the top paddock, but, he's something that I will always remember - he's bloody everywhere - he's always happy and he -- in his mind is a genuine rock star - he plays to an audience of thousands every day wherever he is ----------- the mike isn't real, the guitar makes no sound, he does make sound himself, and he really turns it on - he's harmless as far as I can see -- anyway - bugger it - I took a shot
The museum - all varied
this one I took for a purpose -- this is what you do when the owner of the building is God and the building is old and you aren't allowed to drill any holes in it- but, you want to hang something from the roof ---------- it's not really interesting to many - but, it caught my eye

below is a poor attempt at showing the surrounding countryside - it's rolling hills, grapey and grainy country - very beautiful
