well - I lied to everyone - I said that sports stores were closed in this lockdown
they aren't - they're open but,
you get personally escorted to locked off areas -------- never had that one before
also - just walking back crossing the Passerelle and up the first bit comes a young kid in something like a school uniform skirt - she was about ??? 10 years old, perhaps a little bit older - and, she's dragging a really tiny scooter - one of those ones with the 50mm wheels --
she looks in a hell of a hurry - and she's making a hell of a mess because the scooter isn't tracking for her - so, she's dragging it sideways all over -
she passes me ------ then, I turned around to look and she got past me about?? maybe 8 metres or so - she turns about and scooters down the ramp of the passerelle --------which means - you accelerate ------------ arrrh -
oh boy, you accelerate - by the time she gets to where the decent ends - she's got the shoe at the back braking the back wheel --------- to zip effect - and, she's about to go supersonic -
she hits the flat at the bottom and it all goes pear shaped - which, to me was a sort of done deal -
well - she survived - but, with a very sore arse by the looks of it - she had a little girlfriend there - not sure what the conversation was - but, my guess is - she might take it a bit easier in the dare devil stakes for a few days
she sure had a go at the Darwin award of the week - anyway - here's Decathlon today - I'm waiting for my personal escort
